(3.0+) Developed by Spanish animator and content creator ChaChoTroll, El Hermano de Pou is a unique, side-scrolling indie platformer that serves as an interactive companion piece to the developer's massively viral YouTube animation parody series. Bypassing typical virtual pet dynamics, the game places the player in control of a character styled after a custom variant of the alien pet Pou, specifically dressed up in Cat Mario gear. Players jump, run, and slide across custom-drawn 2D platforming worlds heavily inspired by the Super Mario franchise. It gathered over 700,000 legacy downloads before being permanently delisted from Google Play on May 26, 2019 due to copyright policy boundaries regarding the unofficial use of licensed Nintendo assets and the trademarked Pou layout framework.
