Description
(2.2+) Built in 2012 using the Java-based LibGDX framework, Droid Towers is a deep, real-time tower-management simulation heavily inspired by 1990s PC classics like SimTower and Yoot Tower. Rejecting the microtransaction-heavy design of contemporary mobile tower games, this classic indie project places players completely in charge of building a living, breathing skyscraper. As the architect and landlord, you must place residential apartments, commercial business offices, restaurants, and retail spaces. To keep your tiny "Droid" tenants happy, you have to manage complex local infrastructure layouts, including balancing real-time structural grid stress, organizing public transit elevators, and adjusting background maintenance budgets. Officially open-sourced by the developer in March 2013.Screenshots
