Description

(1.5+) Summary: Developed during the dawn of the Android operating system, this package represents an ultra-lightweight, community-driven information utility for Formula 1 racing fans. Released at a time when official corporate apps were non-existent or heavily gated on mobile, this tool scraped web data to deliver a clean dashboard. It provided quick access to the live championship calendar, driver and constructor standings, race results, and text-based news feeds. Clocking in at a tiny footprint of less than 200 KB, the utility bypassed complex graphic rendering to prioritize raw information delivery over slow, early 3G and GPRS mobile data feeds.
