Description

Released in 2013 by Google design engineer Roman Nurik, this is an iconic, highly customizable lock screen and home screen clock widget built for Android 4.2+. Beyond displaying the time, the app became legendary for its open, public API that allows users to seamlessly integrate modular plug-ins called "extensions". It aggregates glanceable status data directly onto the screen, including current weather, unread emails, missed calls, next appointments, and alarms, completely revolutionizing early Android lock screen customization.
